Bergwater Vineyards

Bergwater Sauvignon Blanc: A clear, brilliant wine with tropical flavours especially pineapple and green pepper in the background. Enjoy with salmon, trout, and salads. Best now and for the next 2 years.


Bergwater Cabernet Sauvignon: A full bodied, herbaceous wine with herbal notes like oreganium and other sweet herbs. Rich and elegant fruit concentration on the palette.  Enjoy this wine with fillet steak or a lamb shank. Drink within the next 4-6 years.


Bergwater Shiraz: Ripe berries, strawberry and black fruit on the nose. Peppery with smokey background and oak spices. Firm structure and good fruit-acid balance. The wine has matured in new American and French oak for 6 months. Within 4-6 years this wine will be at its peak.  Best with spicy dishes, curries, red meats or a pepper steak.


Bergwater Merlot: Rich berry flavours with strawberry, raspberry and cassis. Medium body, light tannins and toasty notes like chocolate.


Bergwater Royal Reserve: Complex smokey wine with nuances of berries and spice. Medium to full body with fruity flavours and strong tannic backbone. The wines were matured in new French oak (Cabernet and Merlot) and American oak (Shiraz) for 6 months.
